The concave-fronted molded cornice above a conforming paneled backrest centerd by a folding panel within a frame surmounted by a swan-neck broken pediment centered by a shell and flanked by urn finials, the concave-fronted plank seat flanked by a pair of downswept armrests raised on baluster-turned supports, the conforming apron fitted with five drawers with bail handles raised on block feet.

Condition

Good condition; nice surface and color; handles replaced; lacking lock plates; some areas of old worm throughout; sturdy and solid; the oak support for the central hinged panel probably replaced; overall with usual nicks, scuffs, scratches bruises and wear consistent with age and use.
