the saint depicted half-length holding the book of Gospels, his garments repoussé and inset with peridot crosses, his halo pierced and decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel foliate, the ground engraved with scrolls with Christ to the left and the Mother of God to the right, the borders repoussé with scrolling foliage within enamel bands, the four corners applied with brackets of stylised flowers on white grounds and centred with large faceted amethysts, 84 standard

The oklad in excellent condition. Good weight and nicely made.
