Christ depicted enthroned in a red and blue halo surrounded by angels, to the left and to the right the Mother of God and St John the Forerunner raising their hands in prayer, in the lower part different groups of saints consisting of healers, martyrs, ascetics, prophets, kings and holy women

Condition

A vertical crack running from top to bottom, the crack filled with glue and strengthened with two pieces of wood on the reverse, the crack on the front side filled with new levkas and retouched, the border stripped to the levkas, some retouching to the painting especially to the faces in the upper part of the icon
