rectangular, the surface enamelled in translucent royal blue over banded wavy engine-turning applied with neoclassical foliate trails, the chased leaf frame with rosette corners, surmounted with a ribbon-tied quiver and torch trophy, the bead-framed aperture enclosing a white glass panel graded in Réaumur scale, toupee feet, ivory back, silver-gilt scroll strut, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard, scratched number 1257

Condition

Excellent condition, with very minor surface scratches; the backing with three losses at the corners/edge; two back screws lacking.
