oval, the lower bowl and rim gadrooned, the front and lid engraved with the arms of a count, incurved spreading foot, acanthus scroll handles, pomegranate and acanthus finial, gilt interior, 84 standard, on a silver-plated copper stand, the fluted well within gadrooned borders, applied with the arms of Medem of Courland

Condition

The base of the bowl appears slightly indented. The silver-gilt base with wear to the silver platting otherwise in overall good condition.
