on four openwork rococo feet, body set through with 17th and 18th century German coins, scroll handle with a cartouche engraved with foliate script initials RK, the finial a fully modelled knight on horseback slaying a dragon

Condition

gilding to base and rim of lid mostly rubbed off, horse reins on finial need to be reattached; otherwise good condition, nice, heavy weight
