rectangular, cover chased in relief with scrollwork on matted ground, now set with enamel miniature of Mars and Venus within a border of rose diamonds and flanked by six large rose diamonds, thumbpiece chased as a lion mask, sides and base engine-turned within chased floral and scroll borders
