Kamenskii 1913 g. incised in base, the underside with the impressed circular factory mark of hammer, cog, and sickle for sculpture dated 1929
Condition
with some inherent firing flaws (cracks in glaze on figure and base) and flaws to glaze (not fully covered on edge of base and in spots on underside).

Catalogue Note
This is a full-sized model of the rarely-seen Bashkir figure from the 'Peoples of Russia' series designed by sculptor Pavel Kamenskii between 1907 and 1917 and which continued to be produced at the manufactory in the 1920s and 1930s.
