  • Length 8 in.; 20.3 cm
oval, with raised ends, enamelled with stylized lions in shaped cartouches against a border of strapwork and foliate ornament on a blue ground; the pierced, shaped handle enamelled with polychrome floral ornament, struck K. Fabergé in Cyrillic with Imperial Warrant and 84 standard, also with scratched inventory number 10928

Condition

the enamel bright and the figures lively, with one small loss to the enamel of a white cartouche around one of the lions and with two small dings to the silver body
