Condition
The canvas is lined. There are frame abrasions along the edges. There are faint lines of craquelure scattered throughout. There is a fleck of paint loss near the top centre edge, scattered flecks near the lower edge and one triangular spot of minor paint loss approximately four centimetres along its longest side near the lower right edge. Examination under UV light reveals scattered small spots of retouching to the sky, water and the four corners, especially the corners on the left side. Held in a wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
