Condition

Canvas is relined. There are some minor areas of paint loss to the lower edge and flecks of paint loss in a few places elsewhere. There are some fine lines of craquelure in places throughout, especially in the top middle. UV light reveals some minor spots of retouching in the middle right and along the left edge; a slightly larger spot in the lower left corner and a narrow area approximately 10 centimetres in length in the middle left. Held in a gold-painted, plaster frame. Unexamined out of frame.
