The panel is sound. There is a light layer of surface dirt. There are light abrasions to the edges and minor spots of paint loss to the left inner frame edge. There are further flecks of paint loss to the foliage in the upper left quadrant. UV light reveals a horizontal line of infilling running from the top to the bottom of the panel. There are further small areas of retouching to the upper left corner, a few spots of infilling to the right edge and lower left corner. A layer of opaque varnish prevents from further examination.
