Condition
The canvas has been lined. There is a small impact damage with associated paint loss approximately 4cm below the main sailing boat. There is a prominent line of canvas weave running horizontally through the composition to the left of the centre. UV light reveals spots of infilling to the strip above the horizon line. An opaque layer of varnish prevents further examination. Held in wooden gold painted frame. Unexamined out of frame.
