Condition
Original canvas. The surface is a bit dirty and covered with a layer of yellowed varnish. There are fine lines of craquelure and a puncture to the canvas near the lower right edge, along with associated paint loss and other paint loss abrasions nearby. There is paint loss in the lower right corner and along the edges and some minor stains to the sky and elsewhere. There is paint loss in the rocks and above them near the left side of the painting. Under UV pigment appears to fluoresce in the rock areas and a few spots in the sky, but varnish prevents a conclusive analysis.
