The portfolio, comprising 22 of the 23 etchings with aquatint printed in colors, with text by René Char, 1976, signed in pencil by the artist and author on the justification, numbered 109, from the total edition of 215, loose (as issued), on Arches with the publisher's watermark, Le Vent d'Arles, Paris, contained in the original grey paper cover with printed title, and grey paper and red leather-covered box (22 prints)

Condition

The full sheets, in good condition, apart from D. 944 with scattered foxing and pale discoloration throughout the plate, the text pages with occasional foxing or offprinting (about six sheets severely). Some additional plates with an infrequent and very pale fox mark at the sheet edges or margins. The box has minor surface scuffs on the grey paper and wear at the red leather edges.
