The complete portfolio, comprising six drypoints and two lithographs, 1922, each with the artist's signature stamp, numbered 56 on the justification, from the edition of 80, with title, text by Arthur Roessler, on wove papers held with paper corners within the original card mounts, published by Rikola Verlag, Vienna, Berlin, Leipzig and Munich, contained in the original green paper-covered portfolio with the label on the front (8 prints)

Condition

With wide or full margins, the prints are in good condition apart from minor skinning on each verso, several sheets with two hinge remains at top. Additional imperfections in the individual plates are as follows: Portrait of a Man (K. 3b): With margins. A crease at the lower sheet edge. Self Portrait (K. 4b): With wide margins. Minor surface soiling along the upper sheet edge verso. Portrait of Franz Hauer (K. 5b): With wide margins, the signature stamp blurred. Squatting Woman (K. 6b): With full margins. Occasional stray ink and minor surface soiling in the margins and verso, an infrequent tiny fox mark verso, two hinge remains at top. Sorrow (K. 7b): With full margins. Occasional stray ink in the margins. The verso with an infrequent mottled fox mark and two hinge remains at top. Portrait of Arthur Roessler (K. 8b): With full margins. Several diagonal hard-creases across the upper right corner. Minor skinning at the upper and lower sheet edges verso. Portrait of Paris von Gütersloh (K. 16B): With full margins. Very minor skinning and two hinge remains at the upper sheet edge verso. Girl (K. 17b): With full margins. The lower sheet corners slightly shaved, the upper sheet corners verso with minor skinning and remains of two hinges. The portfolio worn at the edges, with surface scuffs and soiling, discoloration on the cloth spine.
