The complete portfolio, comprising 22 lithographs, hors-texte, and 15 wood engravings by Georges Aubert after Redon's designs, in-texte, with text by Gustave Flaubert, 1933-38, with title page and justification, numbered 67, from the total edition of 220, on Arches wove paper, the lithographs on chine appliqué with wove support, loose (as issued), published by Ambroise Vollard, Paris in 1938, contained in the original paper cover, red paper-covered boards and slipcase (37 prints)

Condition

The full sheets, in good condition. The lithographs have occasional fox marks in the images (M. 137, 143, 144, 145, 150, 151, 152 and 157) and margins, pale discoloration at the sheet edges. Infrequent foxing in the text pages. The corners of the slipcase and the leather spine are worn.
