The complete portfolio, comprising nine prints of various media, five printed in colors, 1968, most signed in pencil (the Giacometti with his blindstamp in lieu of signature), each numbered 9/70, on various papers, published by Louis Broder, Paris, prints contained in original and contemporary folders within original linen portfolio box (9 prints)

Condition

Eight prints with full margins. Light-staining, color fading and occassional foxing around the plate mark and on verso. Additional imperfections to individual prints as follows: Braque: Bottom edge unevenly trimmed. Arp, Braque and Masson: Concentrated areas of water damage in margins and at the sheet edges.

Catalogue Note

The collaborating artists are Jean Arp (Arntz 233), Georges Braque, Alberto Giacometti (Lust 192, 193), Andre Masson (Cramer 79), Joan Miró (Dupin 271), Pablo Picasso, Jacques Villon and Zao Wou-Ki. Masson contributed his sole woodcut to the portfolio.
