Condition
The print is in good condition, with full margins and fresh colors. The signature slightly attenuated. Pale discoloration along the sheet edges, with tiny foxing along top, a few areas of minor surface soiling in the lower margin left.

Catalogue Note
The Metropolitan Museum of Art offered for sale a number of impressions of Study for Bullfight at the time of its Bacon Retrospective in 1975. These impressions were stamped with the Museum’s seal, and this example is presumably one of those prints.
