Three terre de faïence pitchers, 1954-55, from the editions of 500, 200, and 500 respectively, each inscribed 'Edition Picasso', the first also inscribed 'Madoura', each glazed and painted blue, the first also painted black and brown, each with the Madoura and Édition Picasso stamps (3 ceramics)
Condition
The ceramics are generally in good condition. Minor imperfections in the individual ceramics as follows:
Cruchon Hibou - occasional minor surface soiling, a one inch chip at the lip at top, a few tiny (wax?) accretions on the handle only visible upon close inspection. Extensive surface soiling inside the pitcher.
Hibou - three small old chips to the lip at top, and a small chip at the edge of the handle.
Sujet Poule - a tiny superficial chip in the blue paint at side, only visible upon close inspection. Minor rubbing to the surface edges at the "tail" and "eyes" and "head" of the vessel.
