The portfolio, comprising 23 etchings with aquatint printed in colors, with accompanying text by René Char, 1976, signed in pencil by the artist and author and numbered X on the justification, one of 50 copies in Roman numerals, from the total edition of 215 (there was also an edition of 125 in Arabic numerals), lacking the suite of etchings and three additional plates on japon nacré, loose as issued, with title, on Arches wove paper with the publisher's watermark, Le Vent d'Arles, Paris, contained in the original cardboard cover and portfolio box (23 prints)

Condition

The full sheets, in good condition except for some scattered tiny foxing on the double page prints, many text pages, and the title, also on a few versos of the single page prints. The portfolio box worn at red leather spine and edges, with surface scuffs and minor soiling on the grey paper.
