of serpentine form, the shaped top inlaid with a stylised fan motif in herringbone parquetry, above a leather-lined pull-out slide, with a drawer in the side with receptacles for writing implements, together with a smaller kingwood and parquetry centre table, Louis XV,  mid 18th century, bearing the stamp I Dubois

Condition

Table à écrire: In overall good conserved condition. Colour of top slightly lighter overall with more attractive detail to inlay. Old minor restorations. There is a very small section of veneer that has been restuck on the knee of one leg which which would benefit from some minor attention as it is not straight. Centre table: In overall good conserved condition. Colour slightly lighter overall, more natural and attractive than in the catalogue photograph.
