Condition

Overall fair original condition. The corners of the frieze and the legs are of oak. The surface has been stripped and there is residual stain and polish to the underside. Old minor chips and scratches commensurate with age and use. There is a horizontal crack running across the top which has been restored in the past but is opening up again and would benefit from some attention, together with some other restored cracks. There is a variation in the colour with the legs being darker then the rest. Three of the legs have metal strengtheners on the back and one of these legs is mis-shapen as a result.
