Condition

These prints are in generally very good condition, except as noted below. The plates are as follows: 'Theoline' - There are scattered linear and tiny impressions throughout the image, especially in the center portion of the image. These do not appear to break the emulsion and are visible only in raking light. There is a thin excess of dry-mounting tissue visible at the lower edge of the print. 'Barclay Street Station' 'Pennsylvania Station' - There is a small scratch with an attendant loss of emulsion in the lower left portion of the image. 'West Street' - There are a few tiny soft impressions throughout the image and a small, translucent deposit in the lower right portion of the image. '4th Avenue Brooklyn Billboards' ' 'El' Station Interior' - There is a tiny raised area in the left portion of the image, likely a particle trapped between the print and the mount during dry-mounting. 'Marine Shop' - There is a tiny, taupe adhesion of indeterminate nature in the right portion of the image. 'Repair Shop on Christopher Street' 'Macy's Corner' - In raking light, a thin, linear impression not appearing to break the emulsion is visible in the left portion of the image. 'Manhattan Bridge' - There is a thin excess of dry-mounting tissue visible at the upper edge of the print. 'Rooster' 'New Jersey Railroad Yards' The cloth clamshell box is in generally good condition. There is some soiling and wear at the edges. The front matter is crisp and clean.
