Condition

These prints are overall in generally excellent condition, except as noted below. In raking light, small soft impressions and occasional scuffs, not appearing to break the emulsion, are visible on a few prints. The front and reverse of some mounts are lightly soiled with light wear to the edges and corners. The plates are as follows: Tri-boro Barber School, Bowery - In raking light, a small raised area in the upper portion of the image is visible, possibly a particle trapped between the print and the mount during dry-mounting. Greyhound Bus Terminal Snuff Shop - On the reverse of the mount, the upper and left edges are slightly discolored. Treasury Building from J.P. Morgan's Office Columbus Circle Gunsmith and Police Department - There is a small loss of emulsion at the upper print edge, and some chipping at the left and right print edges. South Street with Brooklyn Bridge Rothman's Pawnshop Department of Docks Sumner Healey Antique Shop Gasoline Station Cheese Store The taupe cloth clamshell box is in generally good condition. There is some soiling, wear to the edges, and scuffs on the bottom. The front matter is generally crisp with some very minor soiling at the edges.
