Description
- Dr. Dain L. Tasker
- 'X-RAY OF A LILY'
- Gelatin silver print
on a two-toned mount, signed, titled, dated, and dedicated in pencil on the mount, 1930 (Tasker, p. 3)
Condition
This early, warm-toned print is in generally excellent condition. It is on matte-surface, lightly-textured paper. Upon very close examination, a few deposits of original retouching and tiny rust-colored deposits of indeterminate nature are visible. There is inconsequential wear along the print edges.
The lower left corner of the two-toned mount is creased. There are matting and numerical notations in pencil on the mount. The reverse of the mount is appropriately age-darkened, and there are two paper-tape remnants along the upper edge.
