Description

  • Robert Mapplethorpe
  • 'ANDY WARHOL'
  • gelatin silver print

Condition

This print is in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination, there are thin, faint graphite-colored deposits near the edge of the image. These deposits likely are offsetting from the frame's spacer, and are not visible when viewing the framed print . In raking light, a small deposit of retouching in the left portion of the image is visible. There is very light wear and soiling at the margin edges. On the reverse, 'RMG # M8807.079-C' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil.
