This photograph, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. A few deposits of original retouching are visible only when viewing the print in raking light. Silvering is visible in the black margin edges. In the margin corners, there are 4 small clamp impressions. The tips of the margin corners are bumped, and the upper paper-ply is folded back. The reverse of the print is appropriately age-darkened at its periphery, and it is lightly soiled. On the reverse of the print, the 'Changing New York' stamp is annotated in colored pencil with the following information: Place: '174-182 West 58th Street and 911-917 Seventh Avenue, Manhattan' Neg. # '283-A' Code: 'I.A.2' Date: 'August 10, 1938'
