numbered '65' in the negative, the photographer's '50 Commerce St., New York City' studio and Federal Art Project 'Changing New York' stamps and with title, date, and annotations in colored pencil on the reverse, 1936 (Yochelson, North of 59th, pl. 28)
Condition
This photograph, on double-weight, lightly-textured paper with a faint surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. The number '66' was written and crossed out in the negative. The upper area of the sky appears slightly warm. The tips of the margin corners are bumped, and there is a small clamp impression in the upper left margin corner.
The reverse of the print is appropriately age-darkened at its periphery. On the reverse of the print are the following annotations in colored pencil: '179th Street and Riverside Drive, Manhattan'; 'Neg #65'; 'Code # A4.B'; and 'Jan 17/36.'
