- gelatin silver print
signed and monogrammed in ink in the margin, mounted, a La Photo Galerie, Paris, stamp on the reverse, 1912, printed later (Goldberg, pl. 77)
Condition
This print is in generally excellent condition. The following are visible in raking light: scattered deposits of original retouching; a small, soft crease in the upper left corner of the image; and a small translucent adhesion in the center portion of the image. There is graphite offsetting in the lower-left and upper-right margin corners.
The mount is lightly soiled from handling, and there are abrasions along its top edge. There are two linen tape remnants, each measuring approximately 2 1/2 inches, on the front of the mount.
The reverse of the mount is hinged at the upper corners to a mat. On the reverse of the mount, '550' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil.
