Condition

These prints are in generally excellent condition. Some of the prints have very tiny chips at the print edges and corners. The plates are as follows: 'Jean-Louis Barrault' 'Max Ernst' - There is a thin excess of dry-mounting tissue on the mount at the periphery of the print's left edge. 'Alberto Giacometti' 'Martha Graham' - There is a small, soft impression in the sitter's shoulder. 'Jasper Johns' - There are a few stray deposits, possibly ink, on the reverse of the mount. 'Anna Magnani' - There is a small deposit of retouching in the left portion of the image, in the sitter's sweater. 'Somerset Maugham' - The lower right corner of the print is very lightly creased. 'François Mauriac' - There are minor abrasions to the reverse of the mount along the lower edge. 'Ludwig Mies van der Rohe' 'Isamu Noguchi' 'Rudolph Nureyev' - There are a few small deposits of retouching in the sitter's sleeves. 'Man Ray' 'Andy Warhol' 'Tennessee Williams' - There is a small raised area near the sitter's sleeve, likely a particle trapped between the print and the mount during dry-mounting. 'Frank Lloyd Wright' The portfolio case and front matter are in generally excellent condition. There is some very light soiling on the cover.
