- Gelatin silver print
signed in pencil in the margin, with 'At Timberline' in pencil on the reverse, framed, 1930s
Condition
This early, slightly warm-toned print with wide margins exhibits a wide range of gray tones and subtle contrast. It is on double-weight paper with a faint surface sheen and is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, 2 thin glossy deposits, possibly glass offsetting, are visible near the left edge and in the lower left quadrant.
The margin corners are bumped, and the emulsion is folded back at the tips.
When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
