'Ruth, Danville': Upon extremely close examination, a small deposit of retouching to the right of the sitter's hair and a very faint scuff in the sitter's neck are visible. There is light wear along the margin edges. On the reverse, the number '1' is circled in pencil.
This print was acquired from Harold Jones, when at LIGHT Gallery, New York.
'Winter Snow Near Liberal, Kansas': The margin corners are bumped. On the reverse, '27 - 9 - 98' and '(3) Ape - 23 @ 8 + [23]' are somewhat illegibly written in pencil along the upper edge. Also on the reverse is an extensive personal inscription in pencil.
This print was given to the present owner by the photographer.
