Condition
This early warm-toned print, on double-weight paper with a slight surface sheen, is in generally good condition. The margin edges are slightly rubbed and the corners are bumped. There is an extremely faint, pale rust-colored droplet deposit of indeterminate nature that is less than 1/2-inch, at the far left central edge of the print next to the margin.
When examined in raking light, a small handling crease is visible in the upper central portion of the print, as well as several one- to two-inch soft, raised ripples in the upper and lower right quadrants. These likely occurred during processing. When this print is viewed under normal conditions, these are not visible and do not detract from the print's otherwise fine appearance.
The reverse of the print exhibits faint soiling and age-darkening at the edges.
When examined with ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
