Condition
Lobate masks held on with nuts of which one is missing and two or three are replacements. Overall condition and colour is very good, with light gilding loss on the handle only. Marks are good and clear

Voir:Marc Rosenberg, Der Goldschmiede Merkzeichen, Frankurt a.M., 1925 no. 4781. D'après le Musée d'Ulm, les dates de Kienlin sont 1591-1653.
This maker's mark is recorded on a cup of 1626 with contemporary image of Gustavus Adolphus on the cover, and inscribed Hanns Ludowig Kienle F 16 Ulmae 26. See: Marc Rosenberg, Der Goldschmiede Merkzeichen, Frankurt a.M., 1925 no. 4781. Kienlin's dates as recorded by the Ulm museum are 1591-1653.
