Catalogue Note
Ce flambeau est directement inspiré de la production hollandaise de la fin du XVIIe siècle. Non poinçonné, ce modèle légèrement édulcoré provient des colonies hollandaises, très probablement l'actuelle Indonésie. Batavia, aujourd'hui Djakarta, capitale de l'Indonésie, était au XVIIe siècle le siège de la Compagnie néerlandaise des Indes orientales.
