In overall good condition, two branches to be correctly refixed (probably just to be screwed). Usual minor scratches. Legible marks on foot rims. some gilding lost and repair to branches.
Very elegant set, very nice color. Large size.

Catalogue Note
Johann Alois Seethaler était l'orfèvre attitré de la cour de Bavière. Ces chandeliers sont insculpés de la lettre-date K qui pourrait également correspondre à l'année 1799. Cependant, stylistiquement, ces chandeliers semblent, à notre avis, davantage dater des années 1820.
