Condition

Both sheets are laid down on older card. The first is in overall good condition, apart from two small retouched paint losses in the floor right of center, as well as a retouched crease in the dress of the figure at left. A few very minor surface losses are present along the left edge. The second sheet has some light foxing, which is visible in the catalogue illustration, as well as some related discoloration, most notable in the background. The sheet appears to be trimmed at left and right with associated nicks.
