Condition

The picture is in overall very favorable condition. The canvas has an older relining. The varnish is fresh and has not discolored the paint surface. There are a few very small and isolated spots of retouching. These are found on either side of the candle stick on the left, and a possible old repair puncture on the ledge at left. A few small spots for reinforcement in the drapery at right. Otherwise in very healthy state with no major losses or repairs. May be hung in its current condition. In a carved and gilt wood frame.
