Condition

Relined. the painting is clean and is presentable as is. the paint surface has been very well preserved overall. there are some scattered very small retouches in sky that have slightly discolored and are visible to naked eye upon close inspection, but these are not too distracting. under UV light: scattered retouches in sky as mentioned. there are also some very small retouches here and there on dog with a larger one on left foreleg over a possible old repaired tear. other small, cosmetic retouches here and there in background areas with a larger one in mountain at far right and in sky at upper right. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame with leaf pattern.
