Condition

The picture has an older relining. UV light reveals a few scattered retouches in the face of the figure, mostly around her cheeks and face, but these have been very carefully applied and are seamlessly interwoven into the original paint. Other scattered retouches are visible in the body, but these are small and none are applied to repair a major damage. There are also retouches around the edges of the entire painting, this is possibly due to abrasion from a previous frame. Overall the detailing, subtleties, and coloration are well preserved. In a carved gilt wood frame.
