Engravings by Agostino Veneziano and Marco da Ravenna, 1518, two plates, slightly later impressions, on papers B. 424 with a Double-Headed Eagle watermark (cf. Briquet 1459, dated 1540), B. 425 with a Letter M watermark (cf. B. 8392, dated 1580)
Condition
B. 424 trimmed on the platemark, in good condition apart from two vertical tears (circa 10mm) and nicks at upper edge, a few repaired tears at sheet edges (the longest measuring 10mm), a central vertical and horizontal fold (the former slightly broken through at extreme lower edge), a couple of brown stains in the lower right, small repairs in the shaded areas, unframed.
B. 425 trimmed on the platemark (just within in places), two vertical tears at upper edge (the longest measuring 7mm), upper corners and their extreme upper edges made up with touches of pen and ink, small repairs mainly along edges, two soft central vertical folds and a few soft diagonal ones across lower left corner (mainly visible verso), unframed.
