Engraving, circa 1498, a good Meder IIa impression, before the scratch on the calf of Hercules, on paper with a High Crown watermark (M. 20)
Condition
Trimmed outside the borderline retaining a fillet of blank paper on three sides, on or just within the borderline at right and in places elsewhere (the borderline occasionally enhanced with pen and ink), a 26mm vertical tear at upper edge, three areas of repairs: at upper left (above tree tops), upper right in the blank area of the sky, across thigh of seated woman at left, other small repairs along left edge and in the lower foreground, other minor defects, unframed.
