Etching with drypoint, 1643, a very good, early impression of this rare and attractive subject, before the horizontal scratch above the tower, printing with sulphur tinting and burr, with contrasts, on paper with a Foolscap watermark

An unindentified collector's mark (possibly Barra Blaisot, L. 263)
Condition
Trimmed on or just within the platemark, a circa 15mm repaired tear at upper right corner, a few minor repairs at edges of the sheet with occasional touches of pen and ink, some very pale fox marks, remains of a light pencil numbering at lower left corner recto, thin areas at left (mainly visible verso), a vertical central fold (mainly visible verso), pale paper discoloration, framed.
