Etching, 1656, a very good impression of this rare print, only state, printing with plate tone and inky plate edges, with horizontal wiping scratches and traces of burr on Christ's figure, somewhat slipped in the printing at left (as described for most good, early impressions), on paper with a Foolscap watermark

Ex coll. Count Wilhelm Heinrich Ferdinand Karl von Lepell (L. 1672); a duplicate from the Kupferstichkabinett, Staatliche Museen Berlin (L. 1606 and 2482)

Condition

With margins circa 4-5mm all around, in good condition apart from the occasional tiny pale fox mark, unframed.
