Engraving, circa 1501, a fine Meder b-c impression, printing with contrast and clarity, and traces of burr in the leaves of the tree at upper right, on paper with a High Crown watermark (M. 20)

Condition

Trimmed to or on the platemark, just within below, a 35mm horizontal repaired tear at upper left above the outermost mountains, further repairs in the sky at upper left, vertical repaired tears in the central tower and in the left tree branch at top (the longest measuring 45mm), a 40mm horizontal repaired tear at upper right through the trunks, other small repairs, a pen and ink borderline in places, other minor defects, supported on a tissue-thin sheet of japan paper, framed.
