- in the style of Bérain, gadrooned sight with centre leaves; corner-&-centre palmette cartouches; continuous foliate strapwork; dentil back
Condition
The frame is in good structurally sound condition. There is evidence of old woodworm damage to the reverse of the right most edge. There is dislocation at the corner joins as can be seen in the catalogue illustration and there are scattered losses to the gilding overall and minor areas of damage to the extremeties lower right, lower centre and chips upper right.
