Condition
The paintings are slightly darker than the catalogue illustration. The mid 20th century relining is still effective and has not flattened the paint surface which is a little dirty and and has suffered from a little frame abrasion. To the naked eye the paintings appear in good overall condition.UV light points to soem localised retouchings and an old tear in the sky of the Grand Canal painting. Offered in carved wooden frames with some losses.
