Condition
The painting is less red than the catalogue illustration suggests. The painting has been recently cleaned, restored and relined. To the naked eye it appears to be mostly in good condition, though slightly sunken in the darker tones. The surface overall is very slightly abraded thoguh in fari condition. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor scattered strengthenings. Offered in a later black wooden painted frame which has some minor knocks but is structurally sound.
