  • Pen and brown ink (recto and verso), within brown ink framing lines (recto);
    inscribed on the recto in pen and brown ink at the top: Rachel, and on the verso: Tanti . Vescovi/...aco .come il Papa / quale and lettering: bbbgg and some accounts; in another hand in pen and ink in the centre: ?senese 500/...36.6

Condition

It has not been taken out of the frame. The drawing is shown double sided. The edges of the drawing are covered both side by the mount. Some minor soiling and surface dirt. The ink from the recto is visible in part on the verso but not viceversa. The drawing is nicely mounted and framed in a 19th century wooden and gilded frame.
